Buster Books is the children’s imprint of independent publisher Michael O’Mara Books. Our books include informative but fun non-fiction for older children, such as the bestselling Thirty Days Has September, international hits including The Boys’ Book series and The Girls’ Book series, innovative activity titles, beautiful colouring books and our hugely successful range of doodle books (see our doodle website at www.doyoudoodle.co.uk). In 2013 we are publishing activity titles in conjunction with organizations including Historic Royal Palaces – The London Activity Book – and The Science Museum – The Icky Sticky Science Activity Book.
We also like to keep up with who’s in the news, and publish books for fans of One Direction and Kate Middleton, among others.
In 2012, Buster launched a children’s fiction list with John and Carole E Barrowman’s acclaimed Hollow Earth and the Monstrous Maud series. In 2013 the sequel to Hollow Earth, The Bone Quill, will be published along with new Monstrous Maud stories and The Diary of Dorkius Maximus.
